Welcome to our Home in the Woods, located in the heart of Northern Michigan, near the charming lakeside town of Frankfort. This secluded home is located on almost 3 wooded acres adjacent to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park. Our newly constructed home is an excellent base from which to explore the area or to stay home and relax in nature. The covered porch is perfect for listening to the sound of the waves, viewing wildlife and birdwatching. Our home was designed with nature in mind and has beautiful views of the surrounding woods from every room.
This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house sleeps 4-5 adults comfortably. Bedroom 1 has a king bed, Bedroom 2 has a twin and a full size bed. There is a twin daybed in the living room for additional sleeping space. The 2nd full bathroom is located in the walk out basement and is currently unfinished but it works if needed.
Amenities include fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, outdoor grill, washer/dryer, wifi, Apple TV. No cable. No air-conditioning as it’s usually not needed. There are beach chairs and toys available for your use. We are just getting started renting to friends in 2025.
